US helicopter crashes in Banda Aceh

U.S. helicopter crashes 500 meters from Banda Aceh airport. The helicopter had a crew of 10. No deaths are reported. Some of the crew members suffered significant injuries.

A US Navy helicopter has crashed on the Indonesian island of Sumatra, while on a mission to bring aid to victims of the tsunami disaster.Four people are reported injured, after the Seahawk helicopter crashed near Banda Aceh airport on Monday morning.There were no fatalities among the 10 people on board, according to local media reports.Sumatra was the landmass closest to the epicentre of the huge earthquake which triggered the tsunami.
